Ms. Lorrie Glover was rear ended in a motor vehicle accident. She experienced acute onset of cervical pain with symptoms of pain, numbness, and weakness radiating down the left arm.

An MRI showed that the accident had caused a disc herniation which was pinching the nerve traveling down her arm.

She had already received chiropractic treatments, but they were only partially helpful.

Since I am one of the few neurosurgeons in the country who also perform pain management, we were able to administer an epidural block in our office during that initial visit.

On her return visit, all her symptoms had completely

resolved, and she had resumed all of her regular activities.

She was able to avoid surgery.

By providing pain management in our office, we were able to spare her the trouble of making an appointment with

another provider and then wait for a few weeks to get the proper treatment.
